Subject: Days sans Petanque: I dreamed a dream
Date: April 4, 2020 at 10:59:57 AM PDT

I was having a nightmare last night in which I was yelling for someone to help me. Sheila whapped me on the arm to wake me. Thanks Hon. Too bad we are still in this one. We carry on and hope for better days ahead.

It's raining, it's pouring,
The old man's snoring.
He got into bed
And bumped his head
And couldn't get up in the morning.

Some men see things as they are, and ask why. I dream of things that never were, and ask why not. —Robert Kennedy

I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed, that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted
