I looked it up. A year ago the world was still in color!
We could wear long pants or shorts. Wear shirts with long sleeves or cut them off. wear our hats with the bills facing forward or back. Stand in the sun or the shade. Wear boots or flip-flops. Choose which court to play on by the flip of a coin. Get in someone's face—close up—and point out how they had lost all touch with the real world.
Now I don't know if anyone out there is even alive unless I drive to the park and wait to see if anyone comes by. Sometimes it's a long wait. Who knew the apocalypse would be so boring.
